In the heart of Vevey, on the Grande Place, “Au Cep d’Or” is a neighbourhood bistro born in 1925, loyal to local artisans and home-cooked seasonal food. When evening comes, the place heads down to the cellar: under the name Les Caves du Cep, it makes music from October to May. Thursdays lean towards improv, comedy club and workshops; Fridays are for the jam session, where people get up to play from 9 pm; Saturdays belong to concerts and DJ sets, between newcomers and more established regional names. Depending on the night, entry is free or paid. In summer, the whole crowd moves out into the open air at La Boélande, in the Jardin Roussy, in La Tour-de-Peilz (Au Cep d’Or).
