A worldwide soul-pop voice

A revelation of the mid-2010s, Sam Smith strung together worldwide hits, from “Stay with Me” to “Unholy”, and collected awards, including several Grammy Awards and an Oscar for the song of the James Bond film “Spectre”.

In 2023, Sam Smith took the stage of the Montreux Jazz Festival for a concert blending soul and pop, with “I’m Not the Only One”, “Like I Can” and “Lay Me Down”.

Sam Smith also knows Montreux beyond the stage: they came to the festival as a spectator too, photographed on a boat in front of the Château de Chillon, with the singer Shania Twain.
