Type
Cultural season (concerts and shows)
Address
Avenue Claude-Nobs 3, 1820 Montreux

The Fondation de la Saison culturelle de Montreux programmes, each year from September to June, a series of shows on the Vaud Riviera. Concerts (French song, world music, choral art), theatre, comedy and new creations sit side by side, at deliberately affordable prices and often as the only date in Switzerland. The main gathering usually takes place at the Auditorium Stravinski, within the 2M2C; during works at the convention centre, the season spread to more intimate halls, warehouses and churches of the region. A partnership with the Nestlé community reserves more than 400 seats each year for 16 to 25 year-olds. The 2026-2027 season brings together, among others, Philippe Katerine, Angélique Kidjo, Bernard Lavilliers and Noa.

The cultural season: nine months of shows in Montreux

From September to June, beyond the festival

When the festival summer ends, Montreux does not fall silent. From September to June, the cultural season takes over and offers, month after month, concerts, theatre, comedy and shows for the whole family.

The line is clear: closeness, quality and affordable prices, with pride of place for French song, choral art and new creations. Many dates are billed as the only one in Switzerland, drawing an audience well beyond the Riviera.

At the Auditorium Stravinski, and beyond

The heart of the season usually beats at the Auditorium Stravinski, the great hall of the 2M2C that also hosts the Montreux Jazz Festival. During works at the convention centre, the season rethought its habits and moved into more intimate places, warehouses and churches, as close as possible to the audience.

The foundation behind it is recognised as being of public interest. With the Nestlé community, it reserves more than 400 seats each year for 16 to 25 year-olds, to pass on the taste for live performance to a new generation. The 2026-2027 season welcomed, among others, Philippe Katerine, Angélique Kidjo, Bernard Lavilliers and Noa.
