In 2000, Claude Nobs fell for the drawings of Albin Christen: the poetic, teeming world of the Lausanne artist illustrated the poster of the 34th Montreux Jazz Festival, a round of musicians in yellow and ochre on a blue background that became one of the festival’s most recognisable posters. In the old town, the artist also painted the wall of the Grütli restaurant: a mural to be discovered along the narrow streets, far from the bustle of the quays.
