Headlining the Auditorium Stravinski
On 4 July 2023, for the festival’s 57th edition, Lil Nas X set the Auditorium Stravinski alight. He opened with “Montero (Call Me By Your Name)” and rolled out some fifteen tracks, from “Old Town Road” to “Panini”, “Sun Goes Down” and “That’s What I Want”, before closing the night with the explosive “Industry Baby”.

He was among the year’s pop headliners, alongside Sam Smith. It was one of the last seasons of concerts in the Auditorium Stravinski before the renovation of the convention centre.
At Hana Road Studios
The festival was not his only Montreux stop. During his stay, Lil Nas X pushed open the door of Hana Road Studios, the recording studio set up a stone’s throw from the Casino, where he posed wrapped in a golden-yellow Versace robe.
A swim in Lake Geneva
Won over by the town, the artist swam in the lake, right by the Place du Marché and the statue of Freddie Mercury, sharing with his followers images of himself in the water, facing the mountains and the setting sun.
