The bust of B.B. King shows him with Lucille, his legendary guitar. The work of sculptor Marco Zeno, it honours one of the greatest regulars of the Montreux Jazz Festival: the king of the blues performed there countless times, and a street-art mural also pays tribute to him in town. Like the other busts in the Palace garden, it was donated by Barbara J. Riley to Claude Nobs, the festival’s founder.
