Harmonica to his lips and torso thrown back, this life-size statue of Claude Nobs (1936-2013), the work of Andreas Altmann unveiled in 2017, watches over the Palace garden and its busts of legends. The founder of the Montreux Jazz Festival happily played the harmonica on stage with his guests. He is shown among those he brought to the Riviera: B.B. King, Aretha Franklin, Ella Fitzgerald, Ray Charles, Santana and Quincy Jones.
