- Address
- Chemin de Sainte-Croix 18, Blonay
Not open to visitors
In 1976, David Bowie settled at the “Clos des Mésanges”, a chalet on the heights of Blonay, above Lake Geneva, a few kilometres from Montreux. It was his main residence until 1982: the years when he recorded “Lodger” at Mountain Studios and prepared his trilogy with Brian Eno. He later left Blonay for the Château du Signal in Lausanne, while remaining faithful to the region and to the Montreux studio until the 2000s. The chalet is a private property and cannot be visited.
