Opened in 1976 around the collection assembled by Jean Dubuffet, the Collection de l’Art Brut brings together the works of self-taught creators, outside any market. Living on the Riviera, David Bowie discovered Art Brut here and brought Brian Eno along. “Switzerland also allowed me to discover Art Brut, which had a very strong impact on my life and my creativity,” he told L’Hebdo on 6 June 2002.
